ACW offers many educational opportunities throughout the year, including the Annapolis Cello Festival, the Winter Jamboree, the Chamber Music Institute and All-State Workshop!
Annapolis Cello Festival 2026!
The Annapolis Cello Festival will be entering it’s fourth year in Summer 2026! The Tapestry Workshop for adult amateurs will run from July 30 through August 1rst. The Youth Institute for young cellists ages 9 - 18 Session One will run from August 3rd - 7th, and Session Two will run from August 10th - 14th. Sign up for one or both! Please keep an eye out for performances by students and faculty throughout the 2 weeks!
Chambervision Music Festival 2026!
Join us for our third year! Session 1 will run from June 22nd to the 26th, and Session 2 will run from June 29th - July 3rd. Sign up for one session or both! Students of any orchestral instruments are welcome to join us for this one or two week summer music camp. We will focus on chamber music and performance skills. Designed for young musicians ages 10 - 18 of all ability levels! Students also have the option (not required) of joining the AACC Summer Orchestra directed by Dr. Anna Binneweg. This year’s concert will feature Dvorak’s New World Symphony!
All-State Audition Prep Workshop 2025 Dates TBD - Check Back in June!
A two-day workshop to help prepare Middle and High School aged students for the Junior and Senior All-State auditions. Open to all string instruments! (Apologies to winds and brass, maybe next year!) Day one is a group class for each instrument led by members of the Annapolis Symphony who will walk you through all of the repertoire required for this years audition. Day two will focus on tips and techniques for a successful audition! The fee for this event is $150.
Winter Jamboree
A mini cello festival! This is a two day festival for cellists to come together and prepare a cello choir concert to perform for friends, family and the community! January 25th and 26th, registration is now open! Tuition is $125.
